43 REVELATION
FORECAST
Compromising the truth is not possible. All
attempts should be made to discredit
falsehoods, including ones own passions and
shortcomings. Reason is obscured by passion.
One ought to be sure that the faults we find
in others are not also within ourselves.
One should not fight with faults directly
but rather cultivate our higher nature
and in this way faults disappear on their
own.
VISUALIZATION
As one accumulates wealth, so one should
distribute it, and keep the wheels of
commerce moving. So too as one develops
character, one should be self-reflective,
and open to the influence of ones higher
nature. One shouldn't rest on ones virtue.
NINE IN THE BEGINNING
A blind plunge ahead can be met with
unexpected setbacks which are disastrous
at the beginning. By gauging ones
strength and resolve before acting one
can see how far to go and still meet
with success.
NINE IN THE SECOND PLACE
One should always be on guard for unexpected
situations. When they do come, one is ready,
calm and watchful. As one develops reason,
passions fall away on their own. Security
through self-reflection and preparedness.
NINE IN THIRD PLACE
A relationship with an inferior person
may be necessary to achieve success,
even though all others look on with
disapproval. One can endure because
one is not influenced by inferior ways
and remains true to oneself.
NINE IN THE FOURTH PLACE
If one could resolve an obstinate
nature all would flow freely again,
but here one seems to ignore such
good advice and seeks to enforce
ones will nonetheless.
NINE IN THE FIFTH PLACE
One may have relations and struggles
with inferior influences but one should
not be misguided or deflected from
ones course.
Follow the middle road.
SIX AT THE TOP
Even after one has achieved success a seed
of inferior ways may still lay concealed
only to grow and bring misfortune at a
later time. Seek within oneself also a
thorough cleansing of ones character to
avoid misfortune. |
