Hostnames...
...never easy to find a good one for a machine. Sometimes it takes a few minutes of thinking a good one up - sometimes you just can't find the right one even after many weeks.
This is one of the harder ones. The HP Visualize J5000 - big boy, very noisy, sturdy, powerful, and takes ages to boot. I nicknamed it HedgeHog for that, but somehow it did't feel right. It wasn't ... studly enough, heh.
So, it took me a good while to find a suitable max-8-chars hostname (I know, 8 chars isn't much. Blame HP for its retarded uname policy).

Six months later, and the baby's finally got a name. Bismarck it is! A truly worthy namesake for both the moustache-bearing Reichskanzler and the massive warship that was named after him.
The Reichskanzler is compost by now, and the warship was scuttled like a playtoy. Great expectations.
